Meet the Barista: Emma

We love a good employee spotlight here on the BonLife blog, and we’re happy to introduce you to our newest barista, Emma, today! Read on to learn more about the staff and what it’s like to work at an award-winning specialty coffee roaster!

How long have you worked at BonLife? One month-ish!

What do you like about working in coffee? I love getting to learn new coffee techniques. It’s exciting to get better and better at a medium I love so much!

Why did you want to work here? No matter where I travel, Bonlife will always be my favorite coffee anywhere!

What’s your favorite part of being a barista? Getting to know people, taking good care of them, and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where folks can relax. :)

What is something you have learned from working at BonLife or in specialty coffee in general? The importance of supporting local coffee shops and roasters! If you’re going to buy a latte anyway, why not give that money to a place that is continually investing in your own community?

What’s your go-to coffee drink? Iced oat-milk latte!

What is something you hope to learn more about? I’m ready to master the latte art game!

What do you like to do when you’re not slinging spro at BonLife? I wear a bunch of different hats! In addition to working for Bonlife, I own Good Soil Theatre Co., am an actor and singer, work as a freelancer in the wedding industry, and am a professional dog walker 😎
