Coffee Spotlight: Whiskey Barrel Aged Colombia
We’re gearing up for the holiday season here at BonLife! Good specialty coffee is so important to the holiday table and celebrations; on that note we’re stocking new products and bringing back some fan favorites. First up? A classic that we can barely keep stock when we have it: a whiskey barrel aged coffee!
Our Tennessee whiskey barrel aged coffees have been a fan favorite since we opened in 2012. This year we’re making one with a washed Colombia; chocolate tasting notes from the coffee complement the whiskey barrel infusion perfectly!
We sourced our whiskey barrel from Corsair Distillery: its first use was a Tennessee Rye Whiskey, and the second was a Tennessee Rum. The barrel infuses unique boozy tasting notes in the coffee, and it’s the perfect coffee to take to a Thanksgiving dinner!
