Meet the Barista: Ashleigh

It’s time for another edition of our Employee Spotlight Series! Let’s meet one of our newest baristas, Ashleigh.

How long have you worked at BonLife? I’ve worked at BonLife for about 9 months!

Why did you want to work here? I was a customer at BonLife for a few years prior to working here. I always loved the atmosphere and the consistency in BonLife coffee!

What do you like about working in coffee? I love constantly being able to learn about all of the different methods and techniques in the specialty coffee industry. 

Go-to coffee drink? My current go-to coffee is a hot honey cinnamon latte. 

What is something you have learned from working at BonLife? I have learned about how much science goes into making the perfect coffee, and how so many small factors can make a huge difference. 

Something you hope to learn more about in the coffee world? I want to learn different types of latte art!

What is your favorite thing about being a barista? My favorite part of being a barista is connecting with the customers and being able to provide good quality coffee that helps them get through their day.

Any other fun facts about you that you’d like to share with the people? What I do in my spare time varies often, but I would have to say my favorite hobby is running or baking. Also, I have chickens, ducks, and four dogs!
